On the tv show "BattleStar Gallactica", what was Lieutenant Starbuck's first name? And with this he joins Dr. Who, who also doesn't have a first name...Actually, it was mentioned once or twice during the show. He does
have a first name. Just thought no one remembers it.
-PGAs far I can tell, the producers never gave him a first name. He's
either Lt. Starbuck or Starbuck.
Totally unrelated, but I found that Mr. Spock from Star Trek has a
first name. But no one can pronounce it. =)He doesn't have one. This is very slightly vaguely proven by:
My name's Andrea Pulaski. Like, what's yours?"
"Starbuck."
"Starbuck. Is that your first name or your last name?"
"What?"
"Starbuck--is that, like, your first name or your last name?"
"It's the only name I've got!"
"Oh." Silence.
From Rescuing Andrea, a Battlestar Galactica fan story by Samantha (fiction!):
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Quasar/1767/ANDREA.HTMAt the Hollywood Expo in Plano, TX on 15 July 2001, Dirk Benedict (who
played Starbuck) was asked this question. His answer was that the
character, as written, never had a first name, but Benedict opined
that if Starbuck did have a first name, it would probably be "Studs."
Got a big laugh. :-)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
